10 Mil Mylar reeds cut extra long so you can size them to your call and calling needs. Use only premium made in USA materials in these replacement sets. The Mylar pictured is not what we are using now, The CLEAR Mylar we use is a superior product and will more than meet and exceed your expectations. Will not separate and split like other cheap products. I use this in all of my custom hand made calls. The reeds are cut extra wide and long so they will fit a larger number of calls, Use a razor or sand paper to shape to size.
When cutting to size I recommend using the old reed as a length guide, Maybe cutting just a tad longer and cutting it down until you find your calls sweet spot. You can also dog ear the corners to add a bit more rasp.  ONE LAST THING, take your new reed and place it between your index finger and your thumb and pinch it together slightly to see what side of your reed in the down side. It will bow like the rocker of a rocking chair, The bow side goes down. like a letter U. It makes a huge difference in the sound of the final product.
