Selling my daughter's Jeep. It's a 1997 Jeep Cherokee Country XJ 4x4 with the legendary 4.0 straight 6 engine. Rust Free, Texas Jeep. She drove it all through high school and it is an excellent vehicle. Leather interior with Power Everything including factory keyless entry. Paint is in great shape. Front 2 leather seats are cracking, the headliner is starting to sag, the windshield is cracked, and the airbag light is on due to the clock spring in the steering column. It has a 3 1/2" BDS suspension lift. Everything works. Runs and drives great. Typical drive line vibration at 65-75mph like most lifted jeeps. The front end is very tight. Extremely reliable. 4wd works great. We have owned it for over 3 years and have done lots of work to it. It is ready for the next 200k miles. In the last 10k miles, the following has been replaced:
New Head
New Head Gasket
New Exhaust Manifold
New Thermostat
New Radiator
New Starter and Relay
New A/C compressor and Lines
New Alternator
New Belt
New Harmonic Balancer
New Power Steering Pump and Lines
New Catalytic Converter
New Spark Plugs
New Wheels and Tires (30/9.50/15)
New Rear Axle Shaft and Seals
New Master Window Switch
Several other small things have been replaced just as preventive maintenance. I have paperwork for almost everything. We had planned on keeping it but she decided she wanted a truck instead.
