Although it doesn't state "Omnichord" anywhere on it, the Q-Chord QC-1 is the latest (last?) in Suzuki's line of Omnichord models that started with the the Tronchord in 1981 and continued with the
OM-27,
OM-36, OM-84, OM-100, OM-150, OM-200M, OM-250M, OM-300 and QC-1. It's a fun instrument. Via MIDI you can even "strum" your other MIDI-enabled keyboards/synthesizers. This model even has a pitch bend wheel.
Features:
- 100 GM instrument sounds ten of which are quickly accessible using the up/down buttons in the Strumplate Voices section. The others are accessible by pressing the Melody Keyboard twice then the F# Major button. The display shows 00. Now use the Strumplate Select buttons up/down to select 00-99.
- 10 rhythm styles expandable with with rhythm cartridges (not included)
- Built in effects: vibrato, reverb and sustain.
- Built-in demo song expandable with song cartridges (3 cartridges included).
- MIDI In/Out.
- Pitch bend up/down wheel.
