Jeep Cherokee, I bought this from the original owner with the intention of building it as a weekend toy to join the local Jeep club with my kids. I have decided to pass the project along to another enthusiast as I have bought an LJ Wrangler! The lady I bought it from bought it new in Colorado then transferred it to Virginia, it was her primary car for 20 years, never off road, never abused just the family car.  I started going through it front to back while building it into a mild trail toy. The suspension kit is the DPG Offroad Ultimate XJ 3.5" kit from Dirk at DPG Offroad. It has less than 400 miles on it and is still settling in.  The Jeep is in good shape, none of the suspension bolts snapped during the installation of the lift kit!! The rockers are solid but the pinch welds at the front are damaged equally on both sides, from what appears to be a shop lifting it incorrectly.
Please note this is a 21 year old Jeep that needs detail work finished and a paint job to be 100%.  The headliner needs replaced, the seats and carpet could stand to be shampooed, drivers seat bottom is worn.  It comes with a lot new parts, I honestly just
don't
have the time to finish it, I am hoping an enthusiast buys it and takes it to the next level!

Design Engineering 010378 injector insulation kit –  “00 and 01 XJs suffer from heat soak on hot days, you shut it off in really hot weather for 10 minutes and go to start it and the injectors shudder and cause a miss.”
Known issues:
Rust hole at rear bump stop mount “common spot as the bump stop bolted to the rail and holds water and funk”
Rust hole at drivers’ side rear quarter from previous minor damage, my plan is to install an off road rear bumper to match the ARB and trim  or install armor plates to cover the rear rockers anyway.
Power window wiring in drivers door needs repaired at the hinge, occasionally window doesn’t go up – known issue with brittle wire in the tube between the door and the car, easy fix just requires time to splice in new sections of 6” long wire.
Has minor driveline vibration at take off, DPG OR said this could resolve as the suspension settles as the transfer case drop eliminated most of it.
Power steering needs bled again like it has air in the system.
