This is a rather stunning antique oblong Delft tray. There are not too many of these remaining in circulation. They are so unique in the hand painted Delft collection that most people keep them in a safe place for display only. You think twice before using it for one of your parties. Yet, it is just too nice to hide away. This tray is Delft porcelain in a metal ring. The tray is oblong in shape and measures 9 3/4 inches in width and its 1 1/2 inches high when placed on a flat surface. The pewter image lattice ring is continuous around the tray. The edge has a 1 1/2" raised metal rim. The back is stamped with hand painted date including the copyright insignia and the artist's initials. Please review all photos. There are no cracks or chips. There are visible age crazing visible.
