Huge Unique Antique Demijohn Smoky Blue Glass Bottle 21" Tall 42" cir. European

Description

Very unusual (est. late 19th century by lip design) Smoky Blue/Aqua Glass Demijohn bottle.   Believed to be a European design bottle.   Has an extremely unusual base shape with 7  folded/indented glass dimple lines running from each of the bottom scallops.   Looks to be a 2 piece mold with applied lip, which also looks to have been blown in 2 pieces.  Lip is double rolled and slightly flared.    I have taken photos in different light settings/background to help you see the true color and turned the bottle so that you can see the shape from different angles.    The stretched bulbous stem top is something I have not seen on another bottle, and the asymmetrical shape, along with the waves and naturally occurring bubble inclusions will make it a great addition to your collection as a very unique piece.
Measures appx 21" tall and 42" in circumference.   Big, heavy bottle in excellent condition with no clouding, cracks or chips.   A couple of the bubble inclusions are partially open near the surface and can be felt slightly, but are not sharp.   Will be shipped in foam lined box and fully insured to help assure safe delivery.   I am passing my shipping discount along to you on this 13 pound bottle.
