    Nice Lot of 4 Original IDENTIFIED Civil War - Victorian Period Carte de Visite Photos of Children From Houlton, Maine & Chillicothe, Ohio, CdeVs
    DESCRIPTION:
    Nice lot of 4 original EARLY antique Civil War-Victorian period CDV photos. RARE IDENTIFIED ONES!!! Three are females in period dresses and the baby is a male.
    2 have the photographer's backmark of Burnham Photographer, South Paris and Bethel, Maine; 1 has "Bryson, Houlton, Maine" on the front; and the 4th has "J.H. Nugent's Photographic Gallery, Chillicothe, Ohio.
    The best part however is that one of the 2 Burnham photos is hand signed in old writing & ink "Katie W. Williams" and the other has (in the same handwriting) "Anita J. Williams". SISTERS!!! The baby is faintly signed "Frank".
    Especially cute group of children and nice being sisters!!
    Very nice examples and EACH IS VERY SUITABLE FOR FRAMING OR DISPLAY in a CDV album or with a Civil War/early Victorian period  collection, or with a variety of collections or display/decorations.
