Description
This is a pair of original Hottles made by McKee Glass of Jeannette, PA under the Glasbake name and used in the historic Neptune's Corner restaurant at the corner of 48th Street and Avenue of the Americas in New York City, once "New York's Most Fabulous Sea Food House," as it called itself in the mid-20th Century. Hottles were used to keep drinks warm and were manufactured primarily from the 1930s to the 1950s.As my photos show, these hottles lack their lids but are in otherwise excellent condition. The red paint illustrations below the word "Corner" are wearing off only slightly, and the glass has no chips or cracks; its only "flaws" are occasional tiny bubbles in the glass from the manufacturing process.
Both hottles are photographed from all sides. Please review my photos and feel free to message me if you have any questions or if you would like to see more photos; the two hottles shown in the photos is the exact pieces you will receive.
