Rare Wedgwood Waterville, Maine Commemorative Plate - made in England. This plate measures approximately 9 1/4" inches across, and has a white background with blue images. The plate has a decorative border, with a central image featuring City Hall in Waterville, Maine. The back of this plate carries a descriptive inscription along with the manufacturer's mark: "
Wedgwood - Etruria, England -- Sole Importers - Jones, McDuffee & Stratton, Boston".
The Wedgwood impression/incision is also present.

This plate was part of a large Wedgwood collection that was carefully stored away for many years, and it is in excellent condition - no chips, cracks, repairs, stains or marks anywhere on this item. Typical of antique china, s
ome light, fine crazing is present in the clear glaze (primarily on back) - however, it is minimal and barely visible.
Any reflection, distortion or shadow in the photos is the result of camera and lighting issues
