Infinix Zero Flip to debut in India on October 17: Pricing to specs, 5 things we already know

Infinix is ready to unveil its first clamshell smartphone– Infinix Zero Flip– in India on October 17. With the launch of the upcoming Zero Flip, Infinix will set its first foot forward into the foldable smartphone market. It marks a significant step for the company as it is now one of the limited brands, which provides flip phones. The device is up to compete with Motorola Razr 50 and Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G. – The Infinix Zero Flip has two displays: the cover and the inner display. The Inifinix Zero Flip features a 6.9-inch full-HD+ AMOLED main display alongside a 3.64-inch AMOLED cover screen, both supporting a 120Hz refresh rate. According to the company, the phone sports the largest cover display in the segment. The cover screen is protected by the Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and peaks 1100nits of brightness. The inner display is even more impressive, which has 1400nits of peak brightness.

The company claims that the device has a unique Hover Mode that allows the device to be used at any angle between 30 degrees to 150 degrees. – The Infinix Zero Flip packs a 4,720mAh battery with 70W charging speed. According to Infinix, the phone’s battery is the largest in the segment. It also claims that the smartphone can be charged up to 50 per cent in just 17 minutes.
– Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimesity 8020 chipset, coupled with up to 16GB RAM and 512 storage. The phone runs on XOS 14, based on Android 14. The Infinix Zero Flip is also eligible for Android 15 and is upgradable to Android 16. The company is also ofer 3 years of security patches.
While the exact the price of the Infinix Zero Flip will be disclosed during the launch on October 17, the rumour has it that it will cost below Rs 50,000.
